Can someone explain to me, why lets take a necklace for example

some necklaces for physical attributes go all the way to 16%
but for magic its like 8%

for karasha gear, physical attack is max 10% so 2x of 10% is 20%
same gear for magical is 6% so x2 is 12%

what is the deal here and where is the fairness? and please avoid stating that magic does heaps of damage because assassin has 13013113 dps, more then a buffed to the max mage would have

is this another of developer sillyness?

Intelligence rolls tend to be higher than strenth rolls on equip, while % attack got more in physical ways,
to add, dps depends on your weapons attack speed, so of course a sin with 0.88 has more than a 2.0 mage,
if you compare the magcal/physical dmg on the other hand, there is not much difference between physical and magical classes, counting in they are not crit build,
and then there are the skill dmg multiplier, every class has different, if a mage has better scalings than a sin, the sin can have more phy attack while doing the same dmg,
ps: no, a mage will never out dps a sin, but that is balancing of the classes, and has nothing todo with the initial question

every class has its own dps and skill scaling. If you compare the dps between classes you can see that for example a berserker can have more dps then a mage but will NEVER do asmuch dmg as a mage!
So the stats and percentage on equip has to be different aswell!

    i see, thank you.

though still, the scaling is terrible, especially when it comes to PVP, they keep PVM style for PVP lol, its like they dont even try.

There is definitely a favoritism shown for the physical damage classes, you only have to look at the availability of sealed familiars for those classes compared to magic damage classes. There's at least 5 times as many sealed familiars aimed at physical damage classes than there is for magic damage classes.

Try to tame a poyo and try to tame a vegarus, than complain again xD

About the topic, magic damage scales in a different way of p.dmg. Magic skills have much more dmg output than physical ones, that's why the equipaments compesates it.
Putting in a pratical situation, sometimes you can see a mage with 50% of a sin dps stealing his aggro. There is no way and no need to compare the dps of mages and physic atkers. Their mechanics are different.

you can't compare the 2 different classes dps. the damage scales differently.
After a little time passes and you learn how to play your class with high skill you wont need to compare the classes. xD
